Sugar Glider Alchemy

"Alchemy is the art of manipulating life, and consciousness in matter, to help it evolve, or to solve problems of inner disharmonies."    - Jean Dubuis

Sugar Gliders are lively and curious by nature. They'll bond with their owner and will enjoy playing and interacting with them. However, because of their very social nature they still need to be kept in pairs or groups. You can keep two males or two females together to prevent having babies, or have your males neutured. Neutering also helps prevent the musky smell that males will get when they grow older.

Neutering and spaying your gliders can help keep them healthier and more stress free lives. When they're spayed females won't have the additional stress of going into heat and the anxiety that causes. Females may actually stop eating and may become more aggressive when in heat. So having your gliders fixed helps both you and them live happier and healthier together.

Currently we breed only a few color variations in our Sugar Gliders. We have Leucistic, Albino, Cremino, White Faced Blondes and Normal Grays. We hope to get Mosiacs, Platinums and White Variations in the future, but for now we're happy with just having a small glider family so we can give each and every glider lots of love and attention.

Our gliders are all on a special diet rich in protein with lots of fresh fruits and vegetables every day so they can stay healthy and happy. Please check our Glider Nutrition page for more information on the diet that we feed. Our gliders also get additional enrichment foods like Gliderade, flower petals, acacia gum , and various savory herbs in addition to their regular diet to stimulate their appetites as well as giving them new and interesting things to think about and play with. Gliders are very intelligent and may grow depressed, overweight and bored if they are not given toys or foods that mentally excite and inspire them.
